Lane Memorial Blood Bank in conjunction with the University of Oregon Student Alumni Relations Board (SARB) holds blood drives on campus. These events are held bi-monthly during the regular school year, and twice during the summer months.

Although primarily designed to accommodate students who would otherwise be unable to donate, the general public is invited to participate. The LMBB bloodmobile is parked on University Avenue outside the Erb Memorial Union Building from 11am-5pm on the scheduled days. Blood donor registration takes place inside the EMU in the Taylor Lounge. No appointments are necessary for these blood drives.

During November, the annual Civil War Blood Drive Campaign runs for the first two weeks. During this event, the LMBB bloodmobile and the Pacific Northwest Regional Blood Services of the American Red Cross bloodmobile both park outside the EMU to take donations. Four days of blood drives are scheduled during the campaign.

Other campus blood drives are held by the UO Law School.
